This project "Tabitha Sees The Future" was a collaborative effort. It became a social commentary on blackness and womanhood in the context of the United States. Each element symbolizes the impact Black Americans have had not only on their society but also on the world. African Americans have set a high standard of culture in fashion, art, and music, and for all that, they still experience much hardship. Nevertheless, there is still a future to be had, though a difficult road, it is still filled with hopefulness, a little whimsy, and a fire that won't go out.
